so, um, i finally figured out how to turn the heel and pick up and knit stitches on each side of the heel flap. got that done and am now working on the "foot" part. a few more inches and i can decrease for the toe then i'm done...well, then i have to do it again on the next sock and hope for the best LOL my nana will love them, i'm sure.
