i need yarn....really.
i want to make my friend a pair of mittens for christmas. i need yarn that's classified as "chunky." i tried my every day, everything stores (wal-mart and meijer), but i plan to go to one of my LYS stores this week or weekend so i'll look for something there. got a lovely pattern and everything, all i need is yarn. -sigh- but if that's all i have to complain about then this will be a pretty good week.

I feel your pain. I wanted a pair of mittens to match my jacket and of course the only thing close was in worsted. Boo ~.~ This might be a good excuse for me to check out some not-so-LYS. Good luck with your search.
